The Lost Little Fish

Once upon a time, in a big, beautiful ocean, there lived a little fish named Finny. Finny was playful and loved to swim with his family and friends. Every day, they would swim together in a group, exploring the coral reefs and playing in the cool, clear waters.

One day, while they were swimming near a colorful coral garden, Finny saw a shiny, golden shell far away. It sparkled brightly under the sunlight, and Finny couldn’t resist. He quickly swam toward it, excited to see the shell up close.

When Finny finally reached the shell, he was amazed by its beauty. But when he turned around, his group was nowhere to be seen. The ocean suddenly felt huge and scary. He had swum too far away from his family.

Finny started to panic. “Where did everyone go?” he thought, swimming around in circles. The more he swam, the more lost he became. He passed by strange rocks and unfamiliar seaweed. The ocean, which once seemed fun, now felt like a lonely place.

As Finny swam deeper into the unknown, he started feeling tired and scared. He saw a wise old turtle passing by and decided to ask for help.

“Excuse me, Mr. Turtle,” Finny said politely. “I’ve lost my family. Can you help me find them?”

The turtle smiled kindly and said, “Of course, little one. But remember, next time, it’s important to stay close to your group. The ocean is big, and it’s easy to get lost if you’re not careful.”

Finny nodded and promised to be more careful. The turtle guided him back toward familiar waters. After a while, Finny spotted his family and friends! They were all so happy to see him.

“We were worried about you, Finny!” his mother said, hugging him with her fins. “Where did you go?”

“I’m sorry, I saw something shiny and swam too far,” Finny admitted. “But I’ve learned my lesson. I won’t wander off again.”

From that day on, Finny stayed close to his group, always exploring with his friends and family by his side. He still enjoyed the wonders of the ocean, but now he knew it was safer and more fun when he was with those who cared about him.

Moral of the story: Stay close to the people who care about you, especially when you’re in new or unfamiliar places. It’s easy to get lost when you wander off alone, but when you’re with others, you’ll always have support and guidance.
