Little boy and crystal ball

It was a long time ago. Once a little boy Henry was playing in his garden. He found a crystal ball behind the banyan tree in his garden. The tree told him that it was a magic crystal ball that would grant his wish.

He was very happy to hear this and thought a lot, but unfortunately, he could not find anything that he could ask from that crystal ball. So, he kept the crystal ball in his bag and waited until he decided on his wish.

Many days passed while thinking like this, but he still could not understand what he should ask for in the end. One day his friend sees him with that crystal ball. There he stole that crystal ball from Henry and showed it to all the people of the village.

They all asked for palaces and riches and lots of gold for themselves, but they all could not even make more than one wish. In the end, everyone was angry because they didn’t get everything they wanted.

They all felt very sad and decided to ask Henry for help. After listening to his words, Henry wanted to ask for a wish, while Henry asked for his wish that everything should become as before. Before this, all the things of the villagers who had tried to satisfy their greed disappeared.

That means the palace and gold they had asked for disappeared and the villagers once again became happy and satisfied. In the end, everyone thanked Henry for his wisdom.

Moral:

From this story we learn that money and wealth do not always bring happiness.
