The Otter and the Fish

Once upon a time, in a peaceful river, there lived an otter named Kittu. Kittu was a friendly and playful creature, loved by all the animals in the river. He had a shiny, brown coat; a cute little nose; and big, curious eyes. Kittu’s favorite thing to do was to catch fish in the river and eat them. He would swim around, dive deep, and use his sharp teeth to catch fish.

One day, while Kittu was swimming and looking for fish, he saw a small, orange fish hiding behind some rocks. The fish looked scared and hungry. Kittu felt sorry for him and decided to catch a fish and share it with him. He caught a big, fat fish and swam back to the rocks where the little fish was hiding.

“Hello there! “Are you hungry?” Kittu asked the fish.

The fish looked up and saw Kittu holding a big fish in his mouth. He was surprised but also relieved. He had been hiding all day, looking for food, but he couldn’t find anything to eat.

“Yes, I am hungry.” “Thank you for bringing me food,” the fish replied.

Kittu smiled and offered the fish a piece of the fish he had caught. The fish hesitated at first, but then he took a small bite. It was delicious! He had never tasted anything like it before.

“This is so good! “Thank you so much for sharing it with me,” the fish said with a smile.

“You’re welcome! I love to share my food. “It makes me happy to see others happy,” Kittu replied.

From that day on, Kittu and the fish became friends. They would meet every day, and Kittu would bring fish to share with his new friend. They would talk, swim around, and have fun together.

One day, while Kittu and the fish were swimming, they saw a group of otters swimming towards them. These otters were known to be aggressive and often attacked other animals in the river.

“Oh no! We have to hide. “Those otters are dangerous!” the fish said, looking scared.

“Don’t worry. “I won’t let anything happen to you,” Kittu replied bravely.

The otters came closer, and Kittu knew he had to act fast. He called out to them, trying to reason with them.

“Hey, guys! What are you doing here? We are just having fun. There’s no need to fight.”

The otters ignored Kittu and started to swim closer, getting ready to attack. Kittu knew he had to protect his friend.

He stood in front of the fish, trying to make himself look bigger and more intimidating. The otters hesitated for a moment, but then they attacked. Kittu fought bravely, using his sharp teeth and claws to defend himself and his friend.

After a few minutes of fighting, the otters gave up and swam away, defeated. Kittu and the fish were safe, but Kittu had some injuries. The fish felt grateful and knew he had to help his friend.

“Thank you so much for saving me. “Let me help you with your wounds,” the fish said, swimming towards Kittu.

Together, they took care of Kittu’s injuries, and the fish stayed with him until he felt better.

From that day on, Kittu and the fish became even closer friends. They knew that they could always count on each other, no matter what.

The other animals in the river saw how kind and caring Kittu was and started to follow his example. They too started to share their food, help each other, and live in harmony.

The moral of the story is that sharing is caring. By sharing his food with the hungry fish, the otter not only gains a new friend but also learns the value of generosity and compassion. This message can be applied to all aspects of life, as sharing with others can lead to stronger relationships and a more harmonious society.
